At Little Wombats, we enrich early learning through vibrant Aboriginal cultural programs for preschool, kindergarten and primary school students.
Delivered across Victoria for over 3 years and now offered Australia-wide, our programs are presented in early learning services, schools, community centres, libraries and major events.
We are more than just a cultural program—our experiences support children’s fine and gross motor skill development while also educating teachers and educators on Aboriginal culture and how it can be delivered safely, respectfully and confidently within their setting.
Our Programs
Single Visit Cultural Immersion
Perfect for early childhood centres, preschools and kindergartens, our single visit cultural immersion is designed to introduce young learners to the beauty, depth, and diversity of Aboriginal traditions through hands-on activities, storytelling, art, and music.
Seasons of Culture Partnership
Embark on a year-long journey of cultural discovery with our Seasons of Culture Partnership. Through monthly visits, this program nurtures curiosity, deepens understanding, and strengthens respect for Australia’s First Peoples.
Bunjil's Larr Primary School Program & Holiday Program
Students explore traditional Aboriginal tools and artefacts, play the Indigenous game ofKolap, and create their own Aboriginal-inspired pieces using clay. This engaging program offers a unique opportunity for students to connect with Aboriginal culture through interactive learning and creative expression.
YIDAKI JOUNREY ADDON
Join us on an exciting journey of having a custom painted or wood burnt Yidaki (Didgeridoo) for the service to keep at the end of the experience.
